Our story

Swyftx was created by two tech enthusiasts, Alex Harper and Angus Goldman, with a goal to democratise financial freedom for everyone.

Today, Swyftx is Australia's top-rated cryptocurrency exchange, providing access to more than 320 digital currencies to over 660,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand. We strive to deliver an unrivalled personalised experience for our customers, offering best-in-class security measures, low fees, an intuitive and easy to use platform and 24/7 customer support.

We are an innovative financial services company that wants to help everyone save, invest and transact safely and securely. Although our Swyftx journey began in the digital world of cryptocurrency, and we love this space, we are also working on how decentralised finance (DeFi) will merge with traditional finance (TradFi).

How we protect you

Transparency

At Swyftx, transparency and openness are key, unlike many players in the Crypto space. Customer balances are held on a 1:1 basis. We do not trade customer balances, nor do we lend customer assets out to any third parties. That's the Swyftx difference.

Compliance

Our stringent Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Know your Customer (KYC) processes may be rigorous and time consuming, but they are in place to protect our customers from fraud and help make the global financial services space a safer place to transact.

Regulation

We have built a strong Governance and Risk Management Framework and our legal team are proactively working with all levels of Government in Australia and other jurisdictions, to ensure robust discussions take place, as legislation is introduced to regulate the Crypto industry.
